An idea for the limited range of EVs

The biggest problem with electric cars is their limited range, which makes them difficult to use on longer journeys.
The French company EP Tender proposes an interesting solution: a trailer with an additional battery.
The idea may seem absurd, but in fact it has more advantages than drawbacks.
The answer to the limited range of electric cars is a trailer carrying an additional set of batteries (60 kWh capacity).
The French company's strategy is based on using these trailers only in situations where a longer range is needed on an ad hoc basis.
Such circumstances include, for example, summer or winter holiday trips. The trailers would be stationed at petrol stations and car parks along the busiest transport routes – they would be hired only for the duration of the journey.
